Attracting Attendees To Your Seminar

So, you want to bring potential clients in for a seminar to boost your image as an expert firm and build relationships. Great idea. The trick is getting people to attend. Dennis Barnes, owner of Marketing Direct, helps organizations and businesses drive traffic to seminars. Here are just a few of his tips to drive traffic to your next event:
1. Provide enough advance notice for your prospective attendees...
consider 90 days notice for a busy executive.
2. Target a smaller defined audience multiple times rather than casting
a wide net just once...hook 'em with an early registration discount,
second notice, or last chance offer.
3. Deploy multiple mediums in your quest to fill seats... direct mail,
telephone, e-ail and industry relevant trade magazines should be
considered.
